I am a dreamer and a romantic. In my life I have been a singer, a voice teacher, a minister, a banker and now I'm devoting my life to writing poetry, memories and words that, hopefully, uplift and heal. Of course, with my words I am first trying to heal myself but, after years of living in bitterness and judgment, my prayer is that my words will help not just me, but many to glimpse the power of love that resides within us all.

Almost everyone I know of, myself included, has thought about writing a book or at least putting memories to paper. So many of us get stuck, however, because we allow our 'inner critic,' the equivalent of that high school English teacher who told us that proper writing had to be done a certain way, to interfere. This book, "Writing the Natural Way" by Gabriele Rico was written to help those of us who want to write from our hearts, as if we're having a conversation with a friend. Maybe even with a glass of wine. I recommend it.
